What is really wonderful about the Lego City Build Set is that it encourages children to create and to generate ideas. With our 6 and 8 year old children when they got this set they went over the parts, reviewed the building instructions and followed them once to build the model.

Then they dismantled the components and started again trying to create different structures they thought of themselves. They were (and are) completely captivated by the process!
